Welcome
Welcome to 4Coffee Clan's Monster Super League website and reference page.
The wall and guild-chat go by very quickly, so I thought it would be nice to have a web-version of some of the discussions that take place there. Hopefully this will be useful to new and veteran members... and with your input, we'll be able to make this page better as time goes along.
Remember to have fun and find a play-style that suits you. We're casual and all share a love of this game and coffee ;)
Thanks for visiting and will see you in-game!
New Members
For all the new folks: We have titan battles from Monday through Saturday, clan exp buffs daily, Clan V Clan battles Wednesday through Friday, and Clan festivals about every 3 weeks.
We recommend that you keep focusing on the game story-line, and fighting titan battles when you can.
If you get stuck on a story-line boss, you can always borrow a friend's astromon (once a day) to help you get past it. Be sure to add some clan friends to your in-game friend's list.
Even just 1 titan attack a week will let you get a share of the rewards on Sunday morning. You can then save up on reward points to summon a 5 star astromon (Siegfried egg) from the clan shop.
Please be sure to ask any questions in the Guild Wall. We're here to help you in any way that we can!
Apprentices
*** Attention Apprentices (people with green-hats next to your name!) ***
As you may know, the apprenticeship is a trial membership. After 1 month, you will receive 1 million in gold and the game will remove you from the guild. This is designed in the game, not a choice made by this (or any) guild. At that point, you can 1) reapply to the guild and become a full member, 2) accept an invite sent from us to rejoin as a full member, 3) or apply to a different guild. We do want everyone back!
This event happens near your 1 month mark, on the following *Sunday*, so you still get your guild rewards.
I will try to notify all apprentices right before your graduation date. Also, the earliest that we can send a re-invite is Monday morning. You can, however, re-apply again that Sunday if you'd like.
Clan-fests
There's almost always a festival going on in the game, but the Clan festivals are especially nice as you will give gifts to your guildies along with your own astromon summons. They typically happen about once a month, alternating between it and a Heroes Festival.
Heroes Festivals often highlight astromons not found in the Clan Fests, but they don't give out gifts. So I try to keep astrogems on hand for both events.

Titan Battles (Regional Defense)
Twice a day, Monday through Saturday, we'll have the chance to battle against the Titans together. You'll field a team of 16 astromons per attack, up to 3 times, against different elemental titans.
I'd say the Titan Battles are sort of an 'end-game' in MSL, as it's something that takes a long time to build up and one you'll be constantly tweaking and improving. It's part of the fun of the game is constantly improving your team with your new astromons, gems and knowledge.
Remember -- nobody starts the game making huge damage and attacks! It all takes time. We all start with small damage, but every bit of damage counts!
A few quick tips:
1) Use elemental advantage where possible. Example, if you're fighting a Fire Titan, you'll want to attack with Water Astromons... and likewise, you do not want to use Wind Astromons against Fire.
2) Fielding 16 astromons can be tough initially, especially with high level astromons. Patience is the key. You may have to build mixed element teams (and mixed levels) initially before having all fire/water/wind and level 60s. It's all a process that takes time and lots of astromons to catch!
3) You may want to try having 1 healer per team of 4, and having debuffers on the left-hand side of each squad of 8. Example:
team 1 A:
[attacker] [attacker] [debuffer] [healer]
team 1 B:
[attacker] [attacker] [attacker] [healer]
There's lot of different ideas on attacking the titan.. this is just one of many.
4) At the end of the battle, in the upper right of the screen, there is a '?' and if you click that-- it'll breakdown how much damage each astromons did in the battle. Of course, your healers won't have as much as others, but at least you can see how to swap in and out for future builds.
5) Be sure to save your teams! It can get tedious to pick 16 astromons over and over, so use the team-save function to be able to recall a team quickly.
6) The astromon skill 'Courageous Strike' is very useful against the titans.
There's a much theory-craft on how to build a titan team. Here's a very comprehensive guide (quite advanced):
Overall view of the Titan Battles:

Clan Conflict (Clan vs Clan)
On Wednesday through Friday, we play Clan Vs Clan battles. This pits our team against another clan team for an arena-style battle.
Usually the teams consists of 10 players, picked by participation in previous conflict battles and current week's titan battle. If we have more than 10 players that fit that, we'll can expand Clan Conflict to 20 players total.
Please note -- apprentices aren't allowed (by the game) to participate in Clan V Clan, but they can still do everything else.
It's just another venue to participate and have fun with. In this setting, stuns, silences, and other skills are more useful compared to the ones used in Titan mode. So it's another place to have some astromons shine more than normal (different than titan and hunting/story-line modes).
Dimension Defense
This is a relatively new mode (March 2022, I believe) that goes from Monday to Saturday of each week. You'll have 3 attacks per day while facing various elemental titans per day. It has a limit of 20 turns for all 3 combined attacks, and this mode seems to be more about countering (and surviving) each round of the titan.
I'm still learning this mode, but the best advice I can give for now, is to read the 'strategy' guide that is present on the daily boss. It looks like an open book symbol on the right-hand side, under the boss icon. It will give a summary of the attacks and defenses the boss utilizes, as well as suggested skills for your astromons to have. Also be sure to use your elemental advantage (using water to attack fire, etc) when possible.
We'll get a ranking based on the combined battle results from all the guild members that participate in this mode. So every bit of damage and boss level counts!
Officer Duties
Small summary of duties that help keep the guild afloat.
Daily - Free Clan Dungeon, Clan Exp buff (+19.5%) in the morning and afternoon. Check to see if a clan buff is ongoing to avoid double dipping onto an existing buff.
Weekly - Sunday afternoon, enroll guild for Regional Defense (Titan Battles). Defend next area in rotation. Tuesday night, enroll team for Clan Vs Clan battles. Lately, we've been entering the 20 member team selection.
*** During the holidays, we'll often open up the mid and high dungeons along with Clan Gold buff, but please be careful with cost considerations w/guild coins. The only way we can refill guild coins is through donations and the completions of guild-related quests.
So a quick thank you to Miyukirie, MysticTruth and everyone else has donated directly or through our CvC team participation toward our guild coin total!
Misc Tips
Water Victoria Fusion -- Proper guide with more details coming soon. Basically, wood Seiren and water Cocomaru will yield Water Victoria. Very easy to farm astromons and the Water Victoria is quite useful, especially in early game.
In the Tower of Chaos, upon defeating the L50 boss, you'll get a Holy Gleem as a prize. It resets once a month, but fairly easy to reach if you're able to build a good light/dark team to autobattle.
When a new event happens, be sure to check the shop's limited tab for a sale item for regular gold (not money). They often have package for astrogems, trinkets, food for under 1000 gold.
How to contribute to the guild? Be sure to hit your roll-call when you log in. Participate in clan-fests when they arrive (about monthly). Try to fight in Titan battles (Region and Dimension Defense) when you can! Try out Clan Conflict if you're part of that team. Donate coins that the guild uses for buffs. Every bit counts and helps us accomplish qoals and quests together :)
